OCTET R8 Bio-Layer Interferometry(SARTORIUS)

We have a brand new Sartorius OCTET 8 platform including instrumentation, biosensors, reagents, and assay kits for label-free, real-time protein quantitation and binding kinetic analysis of biomolecule binding. The platform provides Dip and Read™ simplicity, high-quality, content-rich data, streamlined assay development workflows, and results in minutes rather than days. It performs comprehensive characterization across a broad range of applications, making it a valuable alternative to ELISA, HPLC, and SPR-based analysis.

NOTE: The OCTET 8 has its data analysis software, but many users prefer to export their data (as Excel file .csv format) to analyze in PRISM. This way data analysis can be done in your own lab.

BLI systems quantify protein concentrations and monitor protein-protein and other biomolecular interaction association and dissociation kinetics, enabling informed research and development decisions earlier in the process. In contrast, their high throughput enables accelerated timelines. They can be used in early discovery, research, development, late-stage clinical trials, and manufacturing/QC efforts. The Octet platform is free from complex microfluidics, the “Dip and Read” format is compatible with applications involving cell lysates, and the high throughput analysis capabilities enable antibody and small molecule fragment library screening.
